Basic equipment
- A pan
- the size will depend on how many people you want to cook for, or on what you happen to have. A half gallon pan is enough to cook for four people - a wok is ideal
- A wooden or metal spoon
- decide whether you're more likely to spoon out and burn yourself on your spoon, or spoon out and set fire to it!
- A cup
- equivalent to ½ pint
- A sharp knife
- such as a swiss army knife or one of those gadgets
- A can opener
- or one of those gadgets ...
- A large plate
- for mixing and cutting things up on
- Some bowls and forks
- although you can do without the bowls
You'll also need a source of water!
